In accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we would like to inform you about the personal data collected through our website and communication channels.

2. Personal Data We Process

• Identity data: Name and surname.
• Contact data: Phone number and email address.
• Request data: The subject and content of the message you send via the contact form, email or phone.
• Transaction security data: IP address and similar technical records logged by service providers when the form is submitted.

Please do not share special categories of personal data, such as health data or criminal records, through the contact form. Where necessary, such information will be obtained during a meeting under appropriate safeguards.

3. Purposes of Processing

• Receiving and evaluating your contact and appointment requests and responding to you,
• Carrying out a preliminary assessment for establishing an attorney–client relationship,
• Fulfilling our legal obligations,
• Ensuring the security of the website and communication channels.

4. Legal Grounds and Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact form on our website, email and phone. It is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (c), compliance with a legal obligation (ç), the establishment, exercise or protection of a right (e), and our legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed (f).

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with authorized public institutions upon request and to the extent permitted by law.

The contact form on our website is operated by a form service provider (FormSubmit) whose servers are located abroad, and form messages reach us through our email service provider (Google – Gmail). Information submitted through the form is transferred to these providers’ servers under Article 9 of the KVKK, based on the explicit consent you give when submitting the form. If you do not wish to give such consent, you may contact us directly by phone or email.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as required for the purpose of processing and for the retention and limitation periods set out in the applicable legislation. If your request does not result in an attorney–client relationship, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized after a reasonable period.

7. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information if it has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with that purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
• Request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
• Request that third parties to whom your data was transferred be notified of such correction, deletion or destruction,
• Object to a result against you arising from analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems,
• Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your data.

8. How to Apply

You may submit your requests in writing to our address above or from your registered email address to av.thatipoglu@gmail.com. Your request will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature.
